How do I get a new User account ?
Fill out the New User form online, print, and then Fax to Ed Heiger at 410-328-3861 |

How do I terminate an account ?
Fill out the Acct Removal Form and Fax to Ed Heiger at 410-328-3861. Contact Ed Heiger or Patrick Byerly directly if you need the account disabled immediately.

I have a user with a computer problem, what do I do ?
The easiest thing to try for almost all PC problems is a simple reboot. If that fails to fix the problem, place a Helpstar.

Which Helpdesk should I call ?
If in doubt, place a Helpstar with us and we'll triage the call. We'll get back to you quickly and let you know if we can help, or if you need to call another campus entity for assistance. info do I need to enter into Helpstar for each ticket ?
Be sure to include: Accurate contact info: For the user with the problem, include: name, phone number, and location. Be sure you use the correct Priority, Priority info is located on the News page in the Helpstar application. Details of the problem with the users name on the Subject field. For the best service, please be as DETAILED as possible in the Summary field. Including error messages if applicable. Attach screenshots if possible. |
