Remote Access


Remote Access to a variety of campus applications is available to authorized users. Remote Access to VA, SOM, and UMM applications must be approved by your supervisor. Remote Access to GroupWise and the server drives(H,I,J) is available to everyone. All remote access sessions are encypted for security. Please make sure minimum requirements are met before proceeding. Please select the most appropriate link below for detailed information.

UMM

UMM offers remote access via VPN (Virtual Private Network.) Accounts are issued to users requiring access to UMM clinical and corporate applications from outside of the network firewall (home, other institutions, SOM, and VA buildings).  Please note:

  • Manager's signature is required for non-physician requests.
  • VPN does not provide access to files stored on your hard drive.
